Alright...so I'm a bit sad that the 16 Things is over and done with...but on the contrary, I'm quite happy that I finished it! Hurray!! So, I decided to I needed to blog about something.
Amygdala Hijack
Definition of Amygdala Hijack: it is when your emotions take over your actions. The amygdala is the part of the brain that controls that response. When it takes over, because of stress or anger or whatever, it can force a response that's inappropriate, that you might later regret. A few things to point out: I have tons of Amygdala Hijacks. I have a huge temper. I guess, I like to think it as “I don’t take shit” from anyone. Or at least I like to think. But sometimes I think I need some anger management. Well, actually, let us start over. I only get angry easily when it comes to my boyfriend. Does that sound a bit better? Probably not. The thing is my boyfriend has the tendency to be very negative. And honestly, I’m quite the positive person (ironic eh?). So when he makes crude comments, I start to straighten my spine and decide to put him in his place! Or at least, I like to think so. So, is it really Amygdala Hijack? Or is it just that my boyfriend tends to rub me the wrong way?

Thing 16: Geotagging
So you're probably thinking: It's about time huh? Well...SUCKER...no....in fact, I've been procastinating...haha *smiles*....only because it is the last 'thing' to do on my list...and one that i'm glad I did...lets see....Geotagging...FUN stuff guys....Here is how it goes....
My first geotagging on my photo, my little niece and I:
First of all....geotagging is not what it seems to be....difficult...its actually very easy and fun....honestly, after reading the info...i was dreading it...but finally got down and dirty...and I'd have to say...i'm pretty proud of myself... :) anyways...here are a couple links that I have added for my favorite pics:
Something I LOVE
And something I'd love to have right now
Hmmm...answers:
1. I LOVED flickr's geotagging...easy and simple...I especially loved the fact that once you're in the MAP area, you can just double click...getting closer to the location you want....drop in the photo you want...delete if you don't like it...etc...very easy! The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the date was wrong...I believe it uploaded only the date of WHEN i loaded it onto Flickr....I would have to say that would be the only down side of it....
2. Did I explore any of the other geotagging services? First, Picasa provides a download before I can even get access, which is something I probably won't even touch...so down that hill....and unfortunately, Blockrocker...had a really weird homepage...so i didn't do anything with it....so if you ask me how do they compare...Flickr is definitely easier!
3. Yes, I probably will use this personally....however, probably not professionally UNLESS its for SCHOOL!!! :) that might fun eh?
4. Hmmm...Why would anyone ever want to geocache? Well...maybe you can use it as evidence against someone..who knows??! lol :D Things do come in handy ya know! :D
And TENG.....no comments :D hahaha

Thing 15: Podcasts
Podcasting....was super fun! I'm surprised...of all people...the one thing that you have to know about me is that I don't really keep myself updated on the news...my excuse is that I don't have time....when in reality is that I do have time...I'm just too lazy...
SO...since I do keep updated...well, at least TRY to...with my google reader, I'm finding myself to really liking this new podcasting...
Alright...so podcasting I learned is anything and everything of videos, radios, news, reviews...etc....many many things...
I found it really helpful actually...I decided to stick with the Podcast.com website...very easy to manivure...and easy to add and delete podcast...what's even better is that it's EVEN more simple to RSS the show/radio you want to your Google Reader...For those of you who forgot what RSS feeds are, go back to do Thing 2. :) For those of you who forgot what Google Reader is....(I can't help you then).
So all in all...I RECOMMEND it to all and everyone...Just to let you know some that I subsrcibed to:
CNN News
Hollywood Entertainment
Cartoon Network
and many more....
So...to the question of rather or not If I would actually post some podcasts of my own...probably not....yet...
til next time...

Thing 14: Research Project Calculator
This was quite an interesting project this time...
I looked at both...very different in its approach to getting a project done...I will have to say that both has it own benefit...
The RPC seems a bit more simple and easy to use(hjust 5 steps)...however, the Assignment Calculator calculates exactly what you should be doing each day(a 12 step process) before the project is due, making it easier on you! Especially, if you're limited on time...The great thing is that both send you emails, indicating what needs to be done...I checked my email and I've yet to receive anything...yet :)....
For me, personally, I'm not sure if it would benefit me other than the fact of learning some other new resources to get information...The Assignment Calculator seems to be more intune with a thesis paper...to which I only use for limited classes....although I think these gadgets would be useful in your life...for example, lets say you had to write an essay on why you should be hired...very helpful eh?? What if you owed money to a loan shark...and couldn't seem to convince him otherwise that you'll pay him later??? Both these gadgets would definitely come in useful!!!
To make it simple, I'm not sure If I'm a big fan of this...partly because it is exactly what I do anyway...but it's definitely a great reminder...it also gives you great tips on what resources you could possibly use, making it very handy indeed!

Thing 13: Online Productivity Tools
Hey guys!!! To let you know...I spent about half an hour typing in this ****** window, and it kicked me off BLOGGER...so that is the reason why I haven't been posting lately...hahahaha....*winks*...alright, alrighty...I know I've disappointed many people from not keeping updated with my posts(since you all LOVE my posts), but this Thing 13 was actually one that I've been waiting forever to do...just bc i thought it was REALLY REALLY cool!!! lol...
anyways...to start...I decided to use iGoogle because I already have a Google account....the thought of having more accounts(passwords/userids) have been quite a headache...(sorry guys)...I was surprised how easy it was...and how easy it would be to just ADD everything and nothing at all...if i didn't need something, all i had to do was click delete!! So just to let you know what I added: weather, date & time, map quest, movies, sudoku, yahoo mail, youtube...and many more!! However, I did do some of the other ones that was expected...I tried Ta da list, Remember the Milk, Backpack, and Zamzar...to put it plainly, i DETESTED it. Why? Because every single time, I'd have to make sure I was logged in OR I had to add something before it even showed on my page....and how am I suppose to remember all those links right? Well, you can be a smart*** and tell me that HELLO, you have delicious.com...BUT no, that means i'd have to log into delicious.com just to find the links...and then i'd have to log into whatever website I had to add the things I needed to(ex.ta-do-list...things i need...like new glasses?) Simply...too time consuming...
Although, I do have to say...it was quite easy and fun...I loved the fact that I could check my yahoo email from there...except, once you logged in, you couldn't log out...so that i was a bit disappointed...i'd have to say...anyways....
The question of rather or not if I would set it was my homepage...probably not...I think I still love yahoo's homepage :D
