Alrighty.....I'm actually getting somewhere eh??? :D Well...let me tell you....here's my link to my first photo that I posted up:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ceevue/3059522115/
Let me know what you think! I've always heard of Flickr, its just that I've never just really used it. However, I'm truly happy that it links to my Yahoo so its a bit easier to find friends by just clicking away at the emails that are already listed as friends. Alright....
1. Was it easy? YES.
2. Was it nice? YES.
3. Will I use it at school? YES.
4. What about personal life or professional setting? Definitely for personal life. Professional setting YES...it will help with my future possibility and percentages of getting hired or someone noticing my BEAUTIFUL work.
5. Do I use another photo hosting service similar to Fickr? Not really, other than myspace and facebook...does that count?
6. Does it compare? Well...I guess maybe we should try to answer the first question first...hehe.
7. How do you feel about have your photo public? Well...after playing with my settings...I clicked on Privacy & Permissions...after reading a bit...I was a bit relieved afterwards...I can choose who can upload, save, blog, and share my photos....so honestly...I feel pretty safe about it. :)
The Challege....I'm still working on it. :)
Highlights: No1. I love how you can upload a photo and edit it by using Picnik....Crop/Resize/Rotate/ChangeColor/Sharpen...No2. I learned what "tags" mean!!
ISSUES?? BUT tags isn't working for me....I tried putting in Ai MN 16 Things as my tagged and then tried to search for it..but it didn't work..I even tried to do it without no spaces...no luck..SORRY!

Thing 8 - Wiki
Okay. So I ended up using PBWiki. A few problems getting access to the actual document but I was finally able to get access and its very simple. Of course, I did have to get some directing first of where to find it...but once I found my way....easy as breathing air.
The Wiki Concept: its a great source if you want to know simple things like where the origin of ORANGES came from...etc...the only problem is that not everyone out there believes that it came from Southeast Asia. Well...not my dad anyways. :D (You'll have to ask me about that one).
Types of application that Wiki would possible provide for me within the schools and a professional organization....hmmmm....to be honest...I don't really know if it would benefit me...since the faculty at school sort of bans Wikipedia as a source for research....honestly...because of the fact that people can edit to their liking, I also wouldn't hold it as a reliable source only because of that. Of course, you could also argue that everyone finds their source from other credible sources, so in the end, its all true anyways right?
I decided to edit our 16 things "The Ultimate Dream Supply Kit" wiki and added my own idea. Wiki is actually really easy....which makes things really hard when you want to use it as a credible source. So will I be using Wiki next time? Probably not.

Thing 7-Docs
Alright...I had to wait for approval before I could gain access to the Document. BUT...what I did do is...I have two accounts with yahoo, so I decided to use my other account as another "person" who would edit my documents. It was fabulous!!! To be honest, I loved it. Very easy and simple. I actually like it alot because not only do I HAVE to get tons of emails when I ask my sister's to check my documents for errors, they can just access it and give me feed back right AWAY!! And not only that, it was super QUICK to download the file onto google docs. Whoever came up with this idea is a GENIUS!! :D I haven't tried Drop Box YET...but I'm thinking I'm probably going to like it too! HOWEVER...one thing that I WISH they had was that you could see who edited and added what in a history page like WIki does. :)
PS. YEs...I'm thinking that the Founding Fathers would have LOVED this tool! No MORE wasting INK nor PAPER!! Would the paper have been better?? Not positive bc there's the possibility that there may have been TOO Many changes, making it worse..possibly. :D

Thing 6
OKAY...I'm on a ROLL!!!! :)
Teng Lee: on Thing 5 Nancy Vue: on Thing 6!!! :)
**ahead by one****
you can't beat that...I can already smell Chi--pot---le....(however, I'm guessing that Teng hasn't and probably won't be reading this since he isn't one of my follower's....)
Alright, so back to business...so I signed up for all of four different news sources....very interesting indeed...
Well...I do have to say, I did have a little bit of too much fun in Digg...it was very easy and the layout was NICE. Reddit was a bit more plain though...and not nearly as fun as Digg...it just didn't have all the gadgets and pretty colors :D....MIXX is nice too I'd have to admit....you get to create your own group and chat with people! Like you could probably create a group called "Addicted to baking and not doing my homework"....now that'll definitely get some posts & comments. Newsvine....ummm...definitely very nice because you have a good menu bar that lets you breeze easily through each category...making life a bit easier. However, its hard to decide what is credible...because you can post up your own articles...unless you do some real hard research...and honestly, I just don't have time for that. Although I do have to add that Newsvine does give you some options to add it to your RSS Account!! Yayy for Newsvine eh?
The one great thing about these resources is that you can definitely use it as a resource to sell yourself...hey if you're a great writer and do a great job..you possibly might have people overloading your email, making you and giving yourself some popularity status...who doesn't want that? About connecting other social medias to my circle of resource for this...I wouldn't even know where to start...
So conclusion, If i'm looking for some real fun and maybe not-possibly-credible news, I might have to log in. If I want the real stuff, I'd have to rely on my Google.com/READER to find the quick easy credible things that I already have...or rely on my MSN news.
Until next time...

Thing 5: Nancy VS. Plurk/Twitter
Alright....so...the winner was Plurk...not Twitter....unfortunately I'm an amateur...yes....really... did I at least have a little bit of fun? Yes....Fun meaning being utterly stupid-fied confused? Yes...I said it...stupid-fied....sillyness eh? Alright...so not really being stupid-fied...more like blank-face? Well....the unfortunate thing was that I couldn't seem to really grasp the reasoning of Plurk...the fortunate thing is that: PEOPLE are NOT gonna have to sEEEEE what I do every second of the day of the rest of my life....seems like a pretty good deal eh?
Sooooooo....not that I don't like Plurk....its just that...I don't really see why I need it other then to tell my friends and coworkers what exactly I'm doing....although honestly, it would be FUN if everyone knew what was doing every second of the day eh? But then I don't want someone telling me that I'm having too much "fun" again....heheehahah *winks*
So recommendation....only use Plurk if you're utterly bored and want some fun! :) EVILNESS it is indeed because I can see it can be addicting....!

Thing 4
Alrighty...I"m getting back into the groove...SORRY steve...lots of things happening...!!! Like for example, homework! :D Actually, I did promise...but lately, I've just been lazy...well...not really. :) Anyways...alrighty...Thing 4:
Part1(Myspace and FAcebook):
I already have these things...great awesome networking, I do have to say! AT first, I started with Myspace and then had everyone doing Facebook...so I also had to switch over..let me tell you...that definitely was very confusing!!! However, I'm starting to like Facebook though. Its nice because you do get all these cute games that you can play with your friends and family compared to Myspace...but Myspace has all these fun gadgets like HTML that you can work with...so its also a very fun website to go with...my recommendations??? If you like HTML...then go with Myspace :D
Part2(LinkedIN vs. Plaxo):
Honestly??? I only did LinkedIN...by the time I got finished with it...I didn't think it would've helped me at all...that's only because I don't KNOW anyone...but that's the great thing right? That's what I would use if I start to get to know people?? I spent almost an hour playing around with it...and I'm just not happy with it...maybe I just need to work with it more...than i'll finally be happy right?
On a side note: I didn't have any kind of "computer" issues...great thing eh?
